Mean, gorgeous, tough, watches that can rock it.

Which is THE ultimate everyday beater ?

I myself think the Milgauss leads the pack on this one.

Toss up for me between between 42mm Explorer II and Sea-Dweller 4K, depending on function preferences. But I LOVE your Milgauss choice

I consider nearly every Rolex watch to be a heavy duty watch that can take a beating, and I'd wear any of them in just about all conditions (outside of something like a diamond encrusted President.)

Depending on price bracket I'd say

- Submariner
- Pelagos
- SKX007
- G-shock

Not sure I am willong to beat on any of my Rolex or Panerai in a significant way. For me that means working in the yard, doing home improvement projects or washing the car. Used to be a G Shock but now it is this.

dont do beater ,, i put my watch in my pocket when theres a chance it will get damaged , been doing it so long now , i dont even think about it ,,, so , if its something to keep on , im afraid anything costing hundreds , let alone thousands is out ,,,, so , in reply , anything costing a fiver from the garage is the ultimate beater ,,,, even g shocks are too dear just to beat about.
just my view

for the sake of discussion, is there a definable difference between an everyday-wearer & a true beater watch? choice/preference of an everyday watch might have a lot to do with one's occupation and/or recreational outlets.

personally speaking...for everyday use>a Rolex EXP2...for dastardly tasks>a Timex Expedition Combo.

minor scratches are part of owning any watch but scraping up an acrylic crystal on an older Rolex especially after just getting it back from RSC servicing can be a real drag.

X2 If I am working on the house, car, or doing something stupid, my Casio G-Shock Rangeman.

My daily watch is my GMT 1675.

I recently gave my G-shock to a friend, because I never wore it, so I no longer even have the temptation to wear something else for rough tasks. If my Sub can't handle it, it can always be repaired.
