Post Your Winder Setups

With quarantine in full swing, my watches keep winding down. I'm thinking of ordering a winder to keep them running for when I want to go out. I'd love to see what everyone else is running!

Sorry, no winder for me. Unnecessary wear and tear.

I have a wolf 3 slot winder been using it for years. A great convenience and a fun way to interact/display my watches.

The only winder I have ever needed is the two attached to my arms called wrists, that is in well over 40 years of owning and wearing several Rolex watches plus many others.

Certainly more than fair. I've never needed one before this, but I'm basically chained to my desk for work/grad school for the foreseeable future.

Looks like Wolf is pretty popular though!

You most certainly dont need one now as long as you still have the use of your wrist and fingers. That is if needed to wind with that round thing on one side of your watch called a winding crown, and guess what its for winding the watch .

Brace yourself. Some of the folks on here have som very impressive setups!!

I have a one-slot wolf winder I don’t use. It’s pretty nice just not awfully useful in my opinion. To each their own.

Hahaha and here I was thinking it was just for show!

In all seriousness I get what you’re saying. My trips the past couple months have mostly been quick, run out the door- type excursions, so not time to set my watch. More than anything I just miss wearing it.

Don’t doubt it!
What made you buy a winder to begin with? Peter has me feeling a bit foolish here haha

In the real world before these machine winder things come on to the market I wonder how the millions of those Rolex owners managed. Now with most all Rolex they have just simple complication most just a date. Now if you had a watch with many many complications then yes a machine winder would be a convenience. Now with some Patek watches they give a winder free because they are quite difficult to set.Again in the real world it takes around 30 seconds to wind and set any Rolex watch, but if you must have one Wolf is a good brand..

You're right of course. The winder in this case is simply borne of convenience; nothing more. I ended up getting a Wolf single slot for about 40% off, but I'm still considering sending it back. I've never needed it before, so I can't tell if I grabbed it out of quarantine boredom or actual use.
