Patek Pin Pusher

I recently picked up a 5960/1A-001 from a very established grey dealer.

However it includes the following pusher which is a design / style I have never seen before with any other of my PP’s.

Can anyone please let me know if this is the correct for the 5960?

As I usually receive this style with the Patek logo on the bottom of the pusher

Any insight greatly appreciated - thanks

I've seen both styles. I believe either could be correct but the metal color should match your watch.

You can always order this item separately from the AD if it matters to you.

The second one is the one that came with the watch.

The first one is the older version.

You can buy on eBay cheaper than the newer one from Patek if you lose the pusher.

Maybe that’s what took place?

I have only seen the second style and suspect turborolex may be on to something.

Thanks all - I have flagged this to the seller and requested that it be replaced with the correct one.

Btw - with Platinum Patek's to PP still provide a white gold pusher or does it come in platinum?

The first one is an older style. It was supplied with watches like the 3940 I purchased in the mid 90’s.

The second one is the newer style and is easily sourced. I think many secondhand dealers cobble together a box and stylus to create a “full set”.

That’s why IMO the only things that should matter are the watch and the COO if you’re buying anywhere other than at an AD.

My AD told me never use the metal pusher they give you because if you miss, it can scratch. He says use a toothpick (which I do, and it works great).
