After this long of quarantine I have broken back into the old Alfred Hitchcock movies. Rear window yesterday and Vertigo today. Really great old classic movies.

I'm in the middle of Season 3 of 'OZARK' - on Netflix- and man what a messed up family.

The acting is incredibly well done - Laura Linney and Jason Bateman deserve Oscars for this show.

Just before we became socially isolated, we watched “What About Bob” with friends. I’d forgotten what a funny movie that was. Made for a very enjoyable evening.

So we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail last weekend. I have seen it countless times in late high school and college, but it's been a while... Just want to mention that Netflix has it streaming and the picture quality looks great, like it has been digital restored. Much better than I remember from the past.

Just watched (almost all of) Parasite.
One of those films I liked less and less as it went on.
Actually shut it down with about ten minutes to go.
Oh well, can't like 'em all.

I was surprised by "Once upon a Time in Hollywood". What a great movie and I love what he did with the Manson Family. Ende up watching it twice.

Watched Hotel Mumbai this week. I can't say enough about how well done this movie is, it really gives a glimpse of what those people had to endure. I have since watched several other YouTube videos of interviews etc. Those hotel employees were/are quite exceptional.
...
...factoid- the phone conversations between the terrorists and their handler are all taken from actual transcripts and are close to verbatim

Posted this in another thread a little while ago, but makes sense to post here too. Most people on this forum have a watch problem...I have a serious movie problem.

This is a little more than half of my bluray collection:

Indignation on HBO.

One of the best movies from the 2010's.

The 15 minute conversation between student Logan Lerman and Dean Tracey Letts is some of the finest dialogue put on film.

Wouldn’t be interested in a bunch of free DVDs would you? I have probably 50 of them I haven’t watched in years since my DVD player died. All pretty good major movies for the most part. Don’t really know what to do with them.

One of the better movies I’ve seen in a while with very little promotion. Watched in theatre just before everything shutdown

I just saw the movie Ironwood for the first time starring Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. Great movie but I found it depressing and that never happens to me. Tough times.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm at the point where I really need to start thinning the herd. Running out of storage space

Just watched Knives Out.
Lot of fun. Was actually expecting it to be more of a black comedy, but have no complaints at all. Craig was great, and the performances were good across the board. Story even had a little heart to it. Didn't know Ana de Amas before this, but she's quite the charmer. It ran a little long, probably should've been tightened up a bit, but it didn't drag like most plus 2 hour movies. Nice way to spend a late morning.

The Irishman worth the 3 hours 29 minutes I spent on it, so interesting.
