What is more inappropriate?
A Day Date at the beach?
Or a Submariner in a suit? |

Day date at the beach looks nice.. sub I wouldn’t wear with a suit jacket and tie, just trousers and shirt for the sub is how I like to wear it.

I would have no problem wearing a dd at the beach. But I would never wear a sub with a suit; especially if I owned a dd.

Cool thread. I've always thought a Sub with a suit was wrong but a Day-Date at the beach being equally out of whack never occurred to me.

No question about it, Sub in a Suit insults the Sub - the Suit where it’s appropriate is a Wetsuit...

Amen to that! That green is amazing! On a beach, as long as the crown screws down, who cares? Also, I think the ship sailed on watch restrictions with suits. I don’t know anyone who pays attention anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I always crack up when I read that some people think it's inappropriate to wear a submariner with a suit and tie.
I'd hate to be stuck in a conversation with one of these guys.

3. anyone who follows arbitrary restrictions on where and when and with what to wear luxury watches.
The only rule is whether you feel comfortable rocking it or not.

I totally agree with this.
A sub with a suit is perfectly fine. Any Rolex with a suit is perfectly fine. Any Rolex on the beach is perfectly fine. Although I’m not gonna beat the crap out of my day date at the beach. LOL

A Sub doesn't suit a suit unless you are perhaps filing a suit, or playing with cards that are all of the same suit... If those sort of things suit you.
Because I'm more a Day-Date at the beach kind of guy... |

Day Date on the beach looks pretty cool to me. Makes me want to buy a Day Date actually.
