Are the DJ41 movements still having issues?
I am on the wait list for a DJ41. Might be several months, but my AD assures me they will get me the one I want. I remember reading about some issues with the movement. Not sure if this was ever resolved or the exact problem identified. I would rather not get a new Rolex that is going to require service out of the gate (or shortly after). I appreciate any input. Thank you!

Ive had mine since fall 2018 and admittedly it’s in rotation but no issues. Set it Monday or Tuesday morning and it’s now Sunday eve. Running 3 seconds fast. So haven’t had the lubricant issue yet

I'm still waiting for an update from our Rolex watchmaker and TRF member Searchart (Bas). He has commented on the reported 3235 issue quite extensively. The last word from him was that when/if Rolex releases any information he will share it here on TRF.

With both my watches covered by Rolex's warranty and a further 5 years from Watches of Switzerland should I unfortunately incur any issues it it covered by a guarantee. So i'm fine with the new movements.

I had a 2017 DJ2 and presently wear a 126200 with the 3235. Only issue was it ran -5 when I purchased it. My AD regulated it and is now running-1. It does not seem to be position sensitive either. I had ran it in several positions and on a winder. About .5 is the most it has ever deviated. So far so good. I actually was given a copy of the timing from my AD. I will see if I can find it and post it.

Mine had an issue at the one year mark. I’ve had the watch back for a month. It’s my daily I’ll report back if the issue reoccurs.
It’s a real downer on what’s literally a perfect gada for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've had to send my first 4 watches with the 3235 movement sent in for service. All purchased pre-2019. Kinda sucks but they're getting repaired under warranty. My 2019 is still running like a champ, so hopefully they've figured out some things.

Are the DJ41 movements still having issues?
Quote:
I’ve had mine on for last 45 days and it is running a total of 4.5 seconds slow. My BLNR jubilee with 3285 (I think) movement runs a little but better at 2.5 seconds slow over same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think someone on the forum, not sure if it was Bas, said the first run of the DJ41 without the crown under the six marker but with the 30 were having some problems with lubrication and Rolex was aware of it. I have the later run with the crown at the six and it's running per spec.

If that power reserve is from fully wound thats disappointing given so many people put so much emphasis on the increased PR over the 3135 as some kind of amazing improvement

I wouldn’t worry about it. I have a DJ41 from early 2018 and it keeps great time. Mine gets a fair amount of wrist time and when I do check it the power reserve is where it should be and it’s always within -2/+2 seconds a day.
