New SD 126600

Just got the SD43 as you can see from pics. Had to take it off the NATO again as it was sitting about an inch off my wrist with the deep caseback...Initial impressions, face feels like the right size, still a big watch and feels indestructible, and from a few days casual testing, incredibly accurate, to around 1 second a day.

If you look closely at the second pic you might be able to guess what I’d like to get hold of next. Then I’m done..

Lovely watch. A 126710 will compliment the collection beautifully.

Yes, I took it straight off again.

And for all you dial keenos out there it was bought in the last week from a UK AD and there is no extra crown at the bottom.

Stunning group,
I have to say I think it looks awesome on the G10/NATO strap, although I’m biased as that’s all my DSSD has been on since I got it in 2011.

Lovely watch regardless

That was the first thing that I looked for. So, congrats on the incoming and a MK 1 at that. Wear it in good health.
And good luck with the hunt for the SS BLRO.

Hope you enjoy the new addition!!

As an aside, interesting to see yet another Mk1 ... and we are closing in on the end of the year.

Looking forward to those Mk2s incoming at some point.

The plot thickens ...

Everything was fine until I read "then I'm done"...
You do know there are more Basels to come right...
But I digress, congrats.

Haha. Good point, well presented. Saying that, I can't think of anything Rolex can come up with in the SS 'classics' that hasn't been updated recently, but I'm sure they'll have something up their massive sleeve. Perhaps a ceramic Explorer II but given it's a speleologists & vulcanologists watch (supposedly), it may not be appropriate, and was only updated in 2011.

And thanks all.

Ever since the SD43, ss BLRO and ss Skydwellers...anything is possible from Rolex. Keep your options open and waiting list ready.

Congrats on a great watch. I personally prefer it on bracelet though. But enjoy it any which way you like.
