How To Get Water Out Of Binoculars?

They’re probably trashed but take the back lense off and drain out the water and humidity and see if it works.

Weirdest question ever on TRF for a first post btw.

Why would you post this on a Rolex forum? Especially as a first post... in the wrong area... I don't get it.

Binoculars are not air or water tight. Leave them in a warm dry place for a few days and they should be fine.

Ten only comfort I can offer you is there should be less water in there than you can see through the binoculars currently.

If they're cheap, just bin 'em and buy some good waterproof 'bin's'.

If they're expensive (Leica etc), send them for a service.

One does not simply Get Water Out Of Binoculars, first, you must become the water in the binoculars.

Preheat oven to 225˚F.

Place in Pyrex casserole pan. Drizzle with olive oil, cracked pepper, rosemary, and a few drops of lemon. Some people like to add a little coarse sea salt.

Set dish in center rack, close door, turn off oven. Allow to sit, undisturbed, for at least 80 minutes as oven cools.

We are only students though, to God of Time & Temperature. Master Chew will attend presently.
