Can you let me know what model and age this Sub is?

Just spotted this and wondered if it is a model I should consider buying and what the age and mode is?

Thanks

Rob

Looks like a mid-late 80s model 5513. Looks expensive at £5k

I think the £5.2k price tag is for the two tone Submariner above it!

hmmm - what do you think you would want? At that price you could have other, likely better choices.

meh, mid- late 80's gloss dial no-date sub. nothing special, IMHO. definitely matte dial over these!

Yes, a fairly high price, but not crazy, IMHO, depending on how the case is and whether it comes with boxes/papers. Looks to be very nice tritium patina with original dial/hands. I think these gloss/tritium models from the mid-'80s to late '90s (SDs, GMTs and Subs) will be going up in price, like pretty much all vintage pieces. They're harder to find than you'd think.
