What is the current view of the PAM 359?

I have a chance to acquire one at a fair price, but know that some like the hour numbers all the way around, while others prefer the more traditional baton indicators for most, if not all, of the hour markers.

Is this becoming a classic or a stain on the Panerai brand?

Do tell, and don't hold back!

I own a 359. Probably one of the best classic Pam out. The original dirty dial.

Only fully polished 1950 case + arabics = great combo! Go for it if you love it.

I like it and have almost bought one several times. The 1950 case is great if you have a larger wrist. Always torn between the 359, 351 and the 312.

I’m fairly new to the brand but to my eye it looks like a beauty. I’ve always been a sucker for Arabic’s.

I have one inbound myself. Love the look and have always been a fan. First one for me but looking forward to it, I also love that the band swaps are so easy on the PAMs.

I like it, but its not one of my favorite :p

I like the more unique dial

I am giving the 1359 a serious look because of the thinner case, but the blue second hand would be something I have to live with.

I tried the 359 but the thickness of the case just doesn't work with my wrist size.

You have a pink G-Shock so big that you can park stealth bombers on it yet the 359 doesn’t work because of your wrist size? Dude. Seriously?

I think I like brushed case better. It looks more rugged. However, I can t tell as I have never held one but sometimes wonder how would my 511 look if it was all brushed.

I love it; not sure if it can be categorized as classic. Love the floating dial too. and its my only PAM so I'm slightly biased. LOL
