Icon4 Regarding Patek Philippe 5167 Aquanaut dial

I've studied this watch for a while, since i really like it! But i've spotted an irregularity in the photos on the web, AND also on this forum.

It is my understanding that the genuine 5167 is supposed to have Swiss Made written at the 6 hour mark. But a lot of the photos posted, does not have this, while a lot do have it? Is there a second version (what serial number then?) of the Aquanaut, which doesn't have Swiss Made written at the 6 hour mark?

5167 does not have "Swiss Made".

But, most of the people i would say to be pretty legit about their watches, not to mention any names, their versions do have it.
An example.

i just browsed through the Patek stock photos, and they do NOT have the swiss made, but when using the 360 view, i would say that the watch DO have swiss made written.

Some of you wise men must know, since this no-vice her is definitely confused :D

It appears as it is under my 6 marker on my 5711, but I don't see it on my 5167.

These kind of differences do occur all the time with Rolex dials from time to time.

It may have been used at some point on the 5167 but I'm not sure.

The 5711 just say Swiss, correct?
Most curious, but the only upgrade i'm aware of is the 2mm jump from the ref:5165 to the latest ref:5167

easiest would be to write a mail to Patek, but if someone here could pitch in with an answer, it would be much appreciated.

My 5711, 5712, 5980 have all had SWISS but I've never seen it on a 5167.

I had a hard time telling for sure on mine. It's rather small and I couldn't tell for sure. I don't have a lupe and I tried to tell with a magnifying glass.

Mine has "Swiss" on the left of the vertical bar lume marker, and "Made" on the right side of it. So mine has "Swiss Made".

My 5167 does have "Swiss Made" on the bottom of the dial.... bought it last year new from my AD... I have no reason to believe it not to be authentic....

Swiss Made R version. I believe 5176's made after 2011 had this.

P.S. I'm the first owner. The watch came from an authorized PP dealer.

Dan, I'm going to start the 5167 dial internet hype and say that you have a very very rare dial!

commands at least a £3294 premium if ever sold
