Both are great references. I like the size of the 5170p very much, it really is a sweet spot IMHO. And the black-to-blue dial is the bees knees.

. I quickly changed from feelings of uncertainty to finding them that little extra special touch. And frankly, they are extremely subtle - I would be surprised if anyone ever noticed them, unless they know the watch already.

Hi Stephen. Yes I am from Singapore. It's always hot and humid here.
I never really notice the 5170P until I saw those beautiful shots of yours.
In my heart, I am already sold but having just bought 3 new pieces in the last 6 months, I was wondering whether to hold first. But then I worry PP might discontinue the production of this.

Hi Stephen. Just left the local AD. I tried to attach a photo shot but because I am new and have not accumulated 10 postings, am not allowed to attach a link.

Anyway, couldn't resist when seeing the actual piece. Placed an order. Hope to receive it soon.

Ha ha....... in the excitement of seeing the watch live, did not discuss on the expected date of delivery with the AD. But then, as in my previous purchases, I usually leave it to them to contact me when the goods arrive. Will update you when I receive news of arrival.

finally tried it on today at Wempe. The salon didn't even have one. Its amazing. Im not a diamond guy either but these were very well done and a nice subtle touch. I think i actually prefer it with diamonds after seeing it. The dial how it changes from blue to black, especially at the edges it awesome. Love it.

I wish. Not in the market for one for a while, but its moved up the list when i get a manual wind chrono.

Hopefully will have a different incoming soon though as thats why i went to the AD in the first place.

They have NOT.
It's not perfect, but it must be one of the very best in the current PP collection.

I'm really really liking it.
And in the UK the price is sort "reasonable" as well...
