Help! back-turning 1570 non hacking problem

Dear tech guys,

Let me introduce myself, as it is the first time I post in this section. I am Zsolt from Switzerland.

I have the following problem:

I just bought a serviced vintage 1603 Datejust with a non hacking 1570 (1575) movement. When I set the time for the first time, I noticed the second hand moved a little backwards when I turned the crown counterclockwise. So far so good. I set the time and screwed back the crown. At that time the second hand stopped, so I unscrewed it again and it worked again. When I set the time again and turned the crown counterclockwise the second hand did not move backwards again and just kept going on without interruption and it does so since. I read that the non hacking movements, when turning counterclockwise should make the second hand stop, well mine doesn't anymore. Is there a possibility that something broke? If yes, what can it be and what can be done?

Also, before I did this a watchmaker checked accuracy and said that the watch was running very well in a +-10 sec frame. However, when I check at home against a quartz, it is 18 seconds. Could that be in connection with the above problem?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes it should hack when going backwards if not some of the gears are out of tolerance which is probably causing the timing Issue as well. Rikki

Is that a serious issue? costly?
I should still have a guarantee from the service, does that usually cover this?

Can I still wear the watch without causing more damage?

Thanks. Wnt to the watchmaker, he tested and accuracy was fine. He said it may have been to quick because not wound fully after long time of rest. Backwind hacking resolved by itself (miracle?). Tested real time last day, now it is 8 seconds +, which seems ok.
