thats what i figured, now the next question being how would i loosen them off, i do not wanna just try and turn until i bust my screwdriver or even worse the screw. i read that if i just set the band in warm or hot water is this true?

Or hit it with a hair dryer for a few minutes.

It's heat that does the trick.

Don't forget to clean the screws and holes, and use a fresh dab of loctite upon assembly!
