If his vintage watches were lost, they'll probably pop up again someday. It's a small world and some would be tough to sell without raising flags.

Nice one but it doesn’t quite work that way. Unless the burglar is a marine scout sniper or navy seal sniper, a protection dog (or any dog for that matter) is a an amazing first line of defense.

The dog is aware of even a bird landing on a neighboring tree. He certainly doesn’t like anyone stepping into his yard let alone the house. They’ve been trained with live fire and are numb to the noise of gunshots.

Not that I would wish this on my pup but I’ve seen police canines continue taking down a perp even after being shot multiple times.

His companionship and protection works well for us.

Sad. Hope the criminals are caught and he is able recoup some of his losses.

What a shame. I really hope they catch the person or people responsible for this.

This clip is very eye opening.

Proving it’s not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog!

Nice. This is great.

I am quite certain that all my three would completely spaz on a in invader. The chihuahua would have a conniption.

It’s funny in my dog’s earlier years he actually did stop someone from getting into my in laws house. Latched on and drove them out. I’m pretty sure he’s semi retired now. Or at least he’s keeping shorter hours these days. From around 11pm until 6am he’s definitely checked out.

He is my little soldier. He’s in love with my wife he tho.

And if I lean over her in bed to kiss her goodbye as I leave in the morning, he gets all worked up. He’s actually snapped at me a few times.

If the roles are reversed, he doesn’t make a peep when she leans over me.

I used to get annoyed, now I’m good with it.

If John Mayer had a chihuahua this might not have happened at all!!

Terrible for him and I’m sorry to see this happen to anyone.

I do wonder how it will impact his rebuild of his collection and it will be interesting to see what he chooses to attempt to replace etc.

He thinks he's higher up in the pack than you so you do need to rectify that. You and your missus have to be pack leaders... or Caesar will come round.

That's just sad. I feel for John, he's worked hard to put his collection together.

I hate thieves.

They have to be hard to sell as well, right? I mean, being so rare they can easily be recognized.

Paintings worth 5-100 million are disappearing.

A watch worth anywhere from 10k up to 500k is gone.

shocked he didn't have a vault to keep them in. Or sensors around house to alert anyone is on property instantly.

Install cameras ASAP everywhere around your house...with sirens (SUPER LOUD) I don't care who you are. Near impossible to concentrate with a massive siren blasting you= scares 99% away.
