Is this some sort of a joke I always thought by reading the thousands of posts on forum lately many are afraid to take them off there machine winders, or out of there special Rolex boxes. Unless wrapped in 12 layers of bubble wrap 6 sealed plastic bags, watch covered in protective plastic, just encase the bubble wrap harms the delicate SS or PM.

Unfortunately, I cannot take credit. This is the way it was found when I rescued it and gave it a proper home. It has since been restored. I had them give it a sympathetic restoration with the combination of original unpolished surfaces and also lightly refinished surfaces. I’ll try and get some macro pics of it in the near future.

Wear mine for everything with the exception of:
- Mowing yard / weed eating / yard work - shooting - golf Other than that it goes where I go. Changed the oil in my truck last weekend, sure it got dirty but that’s why I wore it in the shower. Case has accumulated scratches and dings since I took possession. It’s like wear on a nice carry pistol, you know it’s getting worn daily. |

Been wearing this one almost eight years. Don’t take it off for very much. Tough as nails

That shouldn't be hard. Just take your watch, put it on the cement surface, scrap it back and forth about 100 times, then beat it up a few times with a hammer, I think that will do the trick.

Mmmmm that gold is all nice and scuffed up....itd be a shame if it got slammed into roll cage or two.....or "Oh no, did i crack the bezel on the wheel well changing that tire?"...might even get into a fight with another driver...i wonder if blood will stain ceramic.....I like the GMT next to it with its plastic on like shes a classy lady still and youre going to turn her out and ruin her image...thats going to be fun.. |

This thread just reminded me of that guy whose Dad had a filthy GMT Master. That was very entertaining.
