SD43 Endlinks Fit
Im a bit skeptical about the quality of my SD43 as the end links are not perfectly sitting between the lugs. The end link at 6 o’clock is a little wobbly compared to my previous GMT. A week ago I visited Rolex authorized service center where my watch was inspected, and they said it’s perfecly fine. Has anyone experienced something similar? Please share your thoughts

Agree, the only thing tighter than the end links on my sea dweller is the feeling of my legs driving into the seat in front of me while flying coach (6’3) |

I had a couple Southwest flights lately and the legroom was quite good. I was only wearing a Tudor though, so what do I know?!

Do you mean wobbly from side to side between the lugs? Or they’re just wobbly in all directions?

My 43 has zero side/side or vertical play between the lugs. The same as my DSSD.

Same here. Zero issues with my SD43 with extra movement side to side.
I still, almost a year in, get the occasional squeak (which I thought was supposed to go away after a few months of wear) but that’s nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's possible one of the spring bar tips has not "clicked" into its lug hole. Could also be the result of a damaged spring bar, or elongated/enlarged lug hole.
Please go back to the RSC. Somethings not right with your 6 o'clock end link fit-up. My SD43 end links are both solid as redwood stumps - as if they were part of the case. Yours should be too!

Thank you all for your correspondence. It’s wobbly all directions including side to side, I can feel and notice the the spacing between the lug and endlink as I push the bracelet side ways. I don’t think you would be able to notice the issue from a picture.

No wiggling at all on mine. It is rock solid though the bars.

I took the SD43 today to RSC, which required to keep the watch in order to inspect it thoroughly, however, it appears it has a factory defect and they might need to send it to Geneva or replace with a new one

I'm surprised the RSC can't see anything wrong with it. My SD43 end link is super tight in Rolex' typical low tolerance, just like my other six digit piece.

Did they send you a letter to confirm this? I’ve never heard of such an issue before

Honestly the RSC staff doesn’t appear to be qualified enough to make a judgment on rare cases such as mine. I only received a receipt of inspection and will be notified next week with further details. I will keep you posted!

How did u not notice the wiggle when u first tried it on at the AD? Should have raised a red-flag immediately...
