Rose gold but which...?

I've made up my mind that 2014 is Rose gold year. I need a minimum 41mm and have narrowed it down to 3.

Based on my current collection

Work - SS AP ROC 41mm
Weekend - White 216570 ExpII
Dress - DD2 Platinum

RG options:

Sky dweller
44mm novelty ROO
RG AP ROC 41mm ( May trade in SS )

Either one of these would be ideal choices!

Enjoy your quest for RG and please keep us posted!

The stunning RG Sky-Dweller on strap would be my choice although I would prefer a full gold version.

Based on your current collection, the Sky-Dweller is the one to go for. You haven't got a GMT or annual calendar watch.

I choose the AP Off Shore. A month ago I would have never said that, but I recently opened up my horizons on fine watches, and the AP line is amazing.

Based on your current collection, it seems you're filling a 'material' niche, or perhaps a 'complication' niche rather than a functional niche. That's ok, after all, we need to make sure all the boxes are checked ;). The Off Shore is a bit too tech-y for me, prefer the Skydweller on a leather strap, or a Royal Oak without the multiple complications. Nice dilemma.

The day date is nice but in everyday you don't need to know what day it is because when you wear a Rolex you know the day you are!!!!!

Of those 3, trade in the RoC SS and get the RG version. And if u can lower the size requirement, I would take a look at the RG Daytona on a strap as well.

That was a pretty resounding vote for the Skydweller, then again it was on the Rolex Discussion thread and is therefore no surprise.

My wife owns 2 APs an SS RO and a RG Millenary furthermore I genuinley love my 41mm SS ROC. That said it is susceptible to every scratch or ding at the least little thing. The novelty ticks the AP box but I am no tang buckle fan and to be honest I am reading and experiencing a fair bit of AP negativity of late. Keeping my SS AP ROC still scratches the itch

The Skydweller gets my vote too, lets face it Rolex is bullet proof.

Thanks for your help and advice. Now I have to save quickly and find the right watch before I change my mind :) Updates to follow in Q1

Not a fan of Rose Gold but the Sky Deweller is my choice if my wife was to wear it.

I like Rolex and can't say anything bad about them

But I really don't understand why some people compare them with Patek , AP, ...

Let's stay serious ... nice watches but not even close to a Patek or AP ... not even close !
