New Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Ocean Commitment III
Everyone reading this probably already knows that the normal FF is offered in 45mm, while 40mm has been reserved for limited editions. After trying on the 45mm in Beverly Hills a few weeks back, I was sure I wanted something a little smaller. This 250 piece limited edition meets that need, and I feel fortunate to have been able to find one.
A few wrist shots to see the size on a 7.25” wrist. |

A few nice things about this specific version:
Blue! The sunburst dial is much more interesting than black. Springbars. No need for special hex wrenches to change straps. Brushed! The high polish of other FF has always seemed a little out of place to me. Rare. Limited edition is half the size of the Tribute to Milspec, so it’s unlikely you’ll bump into someone else wearing the same watch. If you’re considering one, strike while the iron's hot! |

The blue sunburst dial is gorgeous. This is the blue dial diver to have IMO. Congrats!
Please show us more pictures of the back, strap and buckle if you can.

Congrats! This is a stunning piece and THE FF to own.
It's perplexing why Blancpain does not make a 40mm FF a permanent part of their catalogue. It's a much more versatile and wearable watch. |

Thanks! I agree on both points. The good news is that it makes the 40mm that much more special. 40mm + blue is tops for me. |

Thanks, all!
It’s very comfortable. The interior side is lined with a very thin rubber/latex/silicone material. My wrist is about 7.25”, and I’m on the next to last hole. If you’re 7” or smaller, I’d order a small strap from BP. |
