Yes all Rolex's are set from the factory with the crown in perfect vertical orientation. Anyone who has a canted one has a defective watch and should send in to RSC for correction.

Only fake Rolex's have canted crowns.

They all point in random directions when the crown is fully screwed down.

If you can tell the the difference in 1 degree off, then I suppose you have a 1/360 chance of getting an upright crown!

Guess I got lucky. Crown straight upright and bezel notches match the insert markers. Doesn’t matter either way. Luck of the draw.

One is about 90 degrees and the other is 47.314 degrees. I don't care if they are lined up or not.

They only guarantee it on platinum watches. The AD said, “the crown will be aligned perfectly or your money back.” He was right, so it must be true. Right?

Honestly, a real Rolex connoisseur wouldn't care about it lining up or not, they would know
True on all Rolex I have. My Omega planet ocean lined up perfectly every time. But I sold it :)

My Pepsi aligns perfectly. 1 out of the 50 I’ve owned over the years.

It isn't, nor do I care if it is upright or not. As long as there is a single dot underneath my crown then I am a happy man.

The crown on my OP Date 1503 points up, but it's the only one.

This is however a non-issue for me as I very rarely even notice and I think I had my 1503 for quite a long time before I even noticed.

If I never ready watch forums, I might have never noticed.

Errr, nope... Actually yours is misaligned. Mine has changed since I took the photo, too.
