15450 too small for me?

Looking at a 15450 but can not try on and have no clue if its too small. I have 6.5 inch flat wrists and here what a 15400 looks like on me. thoughts???

I find a 15400 wears too big on my 6.5” wrists, but that’s just a personal preference. The 15450 wears really well and i have in blue and silver.




I also have a 15300 which is a touch too big really but it’s such a nice watch I’m happy to compromise.

Only you can answer this. I have 6.5" wrists and I strongly prefer the 15500 over the 15450. HOWEVER, I feel a lot of that is because I like the look of the 15500 much better. Some people find the 15500 "empty", but that's exactly what I like about it.

Here's the thing...Both will look just fine on you. But you should pick what YOU think looks best. I also would take a very close look at the actual models because there are differences between the 15400/15450/15500. Subtle differences, but differences none the less.

Close-up shots are often a bit misleading, but that looks a bit large. I would definitely try a 15450 and then decide.

jeez you have them all! which do you prefer? im looking at 15300 as well, having trouble finding full set though....

It is often the dial that looks too small on the 37mm, not the case size, especially from further away distances as in normal viewing.

Try looking at it from arms length or in a mirror. I tried on the 37mm before on my 6.3 inch wrist and found it looked small and went for 41mm instead.

Finding a full set 15300 was tough, but worth the effort. As to which i prefer, I’m not sure. The 15300 has more wrist presence and is slightly better proportioned. But the 15450 is the perfect size for my wrist, and the blue dial is exceptional. The silver dial is smarter, and somehow visually resolves the case vs dial proportion issue that some people talk about.

If i had to keep only one, it would be the 15300 if my only watch, or the blue dial 15450 if it was to coexist alongside Rolex sports models for instance.

Whatever you do though, don’t be put off the 15450 by the stigma attached to size, it’s what works best for you that matters.

My watch dealer has a brand new 15450st with blue dial for sale, stickers still on it with full box and papers if interested. Dated Dec 2020. It’s a beautiful watch!

15400 is far too big for your wrist. Try the 450.

I think Royal Oaks look fine if the case fills the width of the wrist. I see no overhand so it looks good. I have a small wrist and found the 15450 too small for my taste. I have the 15300 and it is the perfect size for a RO.

I have the 38mm chrono - different watch I know, but for what it’s worth, it fits great on my 6.7in wrists. The dial appears small when it’s in my watch box, compared to other watches, but when I put it on, it just feels right

I think wire price is closer to 33k, talk to eddie at modernswiss. That is probably lowest in the market BNIB, one is listed here on this forum for 36k.

Listen to Token74, every time the subject of the 15450 comes up he has to leap to it's defense and he's right; the 15450 is a proper sized watch for a lot of wrists. Add to that, the date is properly positioned on the dial and not swimming towards the center.
The 15450 is a beautifully made, traditionally proportioned watch. It wears larger that a 36mm Rolex Day-Date and a bit smaller that a 5 digit Submariner.

From your picture, 15400ST looks good on your wrist.

I have 6.6" wrist, I preferred 41mm more than 37mm but 39mm would be the ideal size.
