Warranty card from Gearys of Beverly Hills

Looking into a watch and notice the warranty card has printed "Gearys of Beverly Hills" and so as the purchase date. Is this normal? For my purchases the date is always hand written.

Seems many ADs are headed in that direction:

Hmm I miss the hand written format. I always like things more analog

My preowned LV watch has the AD’s stamped. Along with warranty is non transferable stamped too. It didn’t matter to me since the warranty was already expired.

I’ve purchased from them and can confirm they print the information on the cards.

Couldn't a handwritten card be erased or altered? Same with the date? Seems like a security loophole.

Sure, Rolex knows the date the card was activated.....but a buyer who buys a watch where the seller has changed the date does not.
