Any info on pieces you tried in Paris boutique...
A newly acquired $400K Concept was the highlight for me for sure.

The Paris boutique was great to deal with. I picked up my 15407or there.

I can tell you be 100% confidence the quote from AP UK was genuine but moving forward with the release of two 37mm models housing the Cal: 3132 the number will reduce.

It’s great when the do that! I’ve been in a couple of situations where after chatting the SA has gone ‘hold on’ and came back with something awesome from the safe just go eye up.

Nothing wrong with the OR buddy

Given the two 37mm variants this is becoming a scarce model to get.

Had a phenominal and elignhtening visit to the London AP, aka CDC biohazard bunker, (anyone that has been knows what I’m taking about) and spent over an hour chatting AP and trying on some rare unicorns. They also confirmed the openworked movement, now being shared with two additional models, exponentially decreased the units per year globally which were already under performing their target production numbers. I still can’t decide if that location is an MI5 safe house posing as an AP boutique or the other way around.

Still traveling, so will of course post lots of AP porn upon my return.

That sounds like an amazing place to visit! Will definitely have to stop by if I’m ever in London.

Yes bit of an hidden away location! Who looked after you, Alex, Dana maybe Daniel?

Did you see the RO PC wall clock?

Glad they told you about the cal: 3132 as I’ve been mentioning it a lot on forum of late.

Yes, definitely a major factor that no one is denying but only a select few seem to really give the details on how scarce they are and wil continue to be.

Not the best pic but I get asked all the time how much light you see through the movement!

I love how you can see through the main spring and when you wind it you can watch the mainspring coil up.

Only pieces immediately available were the Concepts which are a tad out of the budget :) Beautiful pieces though.

On another note, I just can't get over the beauty of the openworked. I've never stared this much wearing a watch ever.

I meant freebies buddy?

And that’s why I’m still in love with this piece!

As above you can see different states of wind on the main spring

You know I was always put off picking up a 15400 as I was concerned about bezel marks etc and purposely always picked watches with ceramic bezels, but the beauty of the 15407 was such I couldn’t miss having one so the plan was my SD or similar would deal with daily duties and the OW for best...

Well that’s not the case I wear it about 90% of the time and it’s already marked up, nothing huge but plenty of little bezel blemishes and a few on the case edges but guess what I don’t care!!! It’s a unique watch and even more so as these are my marks I’ve put on it
