It's indeed a fantastic piece, very hypnotising to see the tourbillon run

Show off your dresswatch

Just a few simple ones Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600, PP Skymoon Tourbillion 5002

And my really expensive one the IWC Portuguese 7 day

In all honestly as a sport fisherman, cattle farmer, and Parasail Captain I don't get to wear true dress watches much except at parties
For fishing tournaments and when I make it to church. Mostly just a SubC or SD. Most of the times it's still just the SS Sub or SD.

Oh that must have been a typo from my iphone, but it's also slang, blin is the equivalent of "shit" in slang when you start a phrase with it, I write to my friends using phonetic Russian, they answer me in Russian letters, I read and write it, but since there are more letters in Russian, the smaller the letters on Iphone, complicated to not make mistakes, I have big fingers, even make mistakes on latin alphabet, and prefer to use phonetic, they all understand me perfectly

Well not sure some of the words are translated by Google translate, but you get the idea

Ps: just tried to translate it in french and english using google translate, it does translate even if not exactly the russian meaning, but not bad at all in fact )))

The Cyrillic keys are not really smaller on my phone, just a little closer to each other. Now on the pc it is a pain for me as I have a regular qwerty keyboard and when I switch to Cyrillic when continuing my course I cannot see the keys, I need to memorize the layout lol

You can find stickers to put on your keyboard, on which you have the latin letters and cyrillic ones, I bought when I was in Latvia, should be easily findable

About learning Russian, watch everything in Russian, TV, movies, even if you don't understand it helps a lot, but best way is to find a Russian speaking girlfriend, that's how you learn the best

I also edited the last post on how to improve your Russian, you can trust me on learning Russian, I speak it fluently now, it's very rare when I don't know a word or verb, but the beginning was hard, very difficult language

I'm doing the Duolingo course, but I should be more consistent with it.
It's definitely a bit of a struggle, reading goes so slow
As for the Russian girlfriend, that might be a good idea

Trust me it's the best idea, but watching everything in Russian also, or at least in Russian with subtitles, even now I watch only movies in Russian, not in French or English...

Glad that you agree. While I understand resale is important for many collectors especially if the watch is of high value, watches aren't investment vehicles and the first consideration of buying a watch should be liking it in the first place and want to wear it. It will be sad if everyone just buy watches based on resale then we will only see selected models from PPs and Rolex ( maybe AP ). Frankly, this Ulysses Nardin Enamel dial watch is so stunning in person that I don't think I will ever sell it so it's potential poor resale will not bother me at all. Just my 2 cents.

Well we are kind of seeing a lot of that here, the 5711-12, 5167 threads and other such watches are legion, I understand as it's not easy to put those sums in something that costs as much/more than a car, couldn't at the time financially, but now I can, will stay a long time with the ones I have, love them all and except the 5711 all are very different, I posted a lot about which ones to get not to end up with watches I would flip, and happy I did as can't see myself sell one of them, except eventually the 5711, as it is basically to put when I don't want to put my 5712 but want to wear a bracelet watch, so keeping it but if needed might go one day to finance something else, but wanted to finish my collection with a real work of art, and as much as I love my other watches, the Voutilainen is just another dimension of watch making

yes you are right I made a mistake on the last letter, it's not c but ц, and right about the "," but I wouldn't add anything before пиздец, it's like finishing a sentence with "crap", but I live in Odecca, they speak quite a good Russian here, but maybe not the best there is and for the E with two points on top to make io, on IPhone you don't have it
