When its dark it doesn't display the time?

Bummer.

Makes it a little too much fashion jewelry for my taste.

From my experience even the Rolex watches with lume generally don't show the time when it's dark
Most of the time when I look at any of my watches in the dark the lume is not charged and I can't see anything.

Congrats to the OP on the amazing new watch. It's superb!
