16753

Is this compatible with a 1675

Insert is being represented as a 16753?

Dumb question I know, but just double checking. Is this even for a 16753

Thank you in advance

Same diameter, yes.

A good rule of thumb is acrylic GMT bezels work with each other, bezels for sapphire crystal watches are different.

Same thing applies to Subs.

I think, someone correct me if I am wrong

It looks like a sapphire model insert to me.

A 16753 insert would be the same dimensions as a 1675 insert as stated but this one does not appear to be for a Plexi model.

The outer ring is on that correct? If not it looks wrong

I too think it's for a later sapphire crystal GMT II. Like Techno, it's my understanding that inserts for sapphire will not work with acrylic unless modified, as I think the diameter is a hair bigger. the ridge on the 1675 insert is much closer to the outer edge and not as prominent.

Thank you. I figured it was too wide. I was just double checking.

Wrong insert for a 16753. As others mentioned, the backside looks like a sapphire insert.

Thanks Springer. I made the seller aware as it was misrepresented unintentionally.

Bummer! I have been browsing inserts too lately, it's amazing how expensive they are. I should feel lucky that I have a Root Beer. They seem to be almost inexpensive compared to Pepsi inserts! I was looking at some black ones with champaign colored characters on Fleabay and wondering how it would look on the brown dial. Good luck BigBlue1 I always enjoy your threads!
