Z6..... series NOS 14060M with wooden box???
A good friend just purchased a Z6....... BNIB NOS Submariner 14060M non-COSC from an AD and they gave him the old style wooden box with pillow. Does this sound correct?
Also it did not come with the red hanging tag, which I assume is due to the fact that it's non-COSC, but I could be wrong. Can anyone with a non-COSC answer this one? Thanks! |

When you say "wooden box" I take it you mean the green-leather-covered wooden box, yes?
At any rate, most Rolexes sold today come with the green plastic box. You are correct re: the red COSC tag. |

Box should be the newer green wave style for a Z....I believe the wooden box was last used in the early F serial range.
Red Cosc tag, no.....At least my non COSC ND didn't have one.

Yes - the green on the outside, fantastic 70s-porn-set wood on the inside with nice brown pillow box...

tbh I like the old "wooden" box far more than the new style......
If he wants to trade, he can have my new-style one to get it "original" |

Funny thing is that he does not care much... However, it really bothers me as I was the contact between the AD and him and it pisses me off that they might have tried to pull a fast one on us! Ill give the AD a call and see what they have to say.

I'd rather have the "wooden" over the plastic any day

Called the AD and they said they knew it was that box because the anchor was in there.... Go figure. The important thing is that my buddy is happy anyways!
