SS Daytona G Serial paying 2011 retail or random serial?
Is that normal or should I wait for a random serial? He's asking for the 2011 list, which is 11520.

It is normal, and there is no substantial difference of any kind anyway.

Some guys are asking that price for older bnib serials. So it's perfectly normal.

I bought my SS Daytona black dial in May. It is a G-serial.

I'm guessing it's possible for a dealer to still receive v serial or g or random. As long as it has the newer clasp and brand new with stickers I wouldn't sweat it.

FYI from what I've read on here the G-serial and random serial are somewhat coinsiding, especially when it comes to different styles. From what I've read a G-serial watch could've been put together after a random serial watch. Not trying to sound harsh or mean but I totally understand why Rolex went to the random serial numbers. Too much is made about the serial numbers. Just because a watch has a certain serial doesn't mean thats when it was completed. You are buying a new watch. Don't worry.
