Quick Question

Hey ya'll,
I am new to the Rolex family, so pardon my dumb question. Just got a Submariner V and am curious how much do I wind it? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks so much

Give it 40 turns of the winding crown in the winding position... then you're sure it has full power reserve. Don't worry about "over winding" it because you cannot over wind a Rolex due to the safety clutch.

You've gotta dance while wearing it!

Joking... wind as Bo says above. Welcome!

Depends how much you wear it and how active you are. If you wear it 24/7 and are very active you won't need to wind it at all. Great thing about automatics.

Once. Then keep it on your wrist and it'll wind itself!

About every other day or so. It has stopped once since I didn't wear it for several days.

Even when worn it will do no harm whatsoever to give a full manual wind once a week or so to keep mainspring at peak power reserve.

Thank ya'll. Also, another question. Do the bracelets still have a part number on them? Mine is a 2008 and doesn't have a part number. Went and looked at a brand new one and didn't have a part number on the bracelet either.
