milsub 5513
Hi All, I have the following watch and am interested to get opinions and feedback regarding it.
I was given the watch over 25 years ago from a family member who traded for it during his time in the British Army in the 70's. It has remained untouched since then. I would like to know if anyone can help me get further info or documentation on this magnificent timepiece. I am aware it is a very collectable and sought after item. Regards, Rob |

I'm sure Jed will be along shortly but it certainly looks like a "full spec" Rolex 5513 Milsub.
Does it still have the original engravings on the case back? Incidentally, Jed is in Aus. |

Don't post full pics of caseback and serial. And yes: speak to Jedly.

It's a full spec Milsub, seems the OP knows this already and presumably the value of it now.
OP - What extra info are you actually after? |

Unless you really need the money I would not sell that watch! It's a beauty and a true Grail for many collectors.

As for further documentation, there will most likely be none for your specific watch that is accessible now. Lucky chap :-) Haywood M

Rob-that's an absolute stunner. What information were you seeking?
Are you a watch aficionado? If yes then I understand wear and enjoy it! If no then why not sell it and get a regular submariner as a daily wearer. Get something that you don't have to be cautious with or worry about damaging(not that it can't take a beating lol)

Awesome piece. It will jump up in value over time very nicely. A much better investment than the stock market nowadays....

Indeed it is a real stunner.
Crying shame about the engravings, it would be perfect otherwise. |
