Day date 1971 help
Hi i'm new to this forum. I'm torn between getting a vintage DD or a DJII. I recently have one 1971 YG DD I'm looking at but I don't know if I'd be overpaying( $6500). It's all original, only the leather strap has been replace to new genuine rolex strap. Overall watch looks pretty good and it come with original box, no paper but with service receipt on sept 2015. I need help from this forum. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For what it's worth on your wrist this 36mm looks to be the right size. I feel like DJII might be a lil too big for your wrist.

Great watch, and the one you are looking at is priced very reasonable with the factory diamond dial.

Size is perfect and just the right amount of gold on the leather strap Looking to do the same myself someday with a 66 model

DD pictured is great - beautiful dial, leather strap balances diamond markers nicely!
Certainly a reasonable price. |

Price is reasonable, still doesn't hurt to haggle. It's a beautiful watch, and the variant I want when I eventually get a DD

$6500 is a very reasonable price for a DD with a factory diamond dial.
