Rolex to job interview

I've been meaning to post about this for a week but haven't gotten to it...

I'm interviewing for a new job tomorrow and everyone keeps telling me not to wear my Rolex to the interview...

Would you guys agree or disagree? Why?

I would need details on the job, your social status, the company's culture, etc. before rendering an opinion.

See link above and search. It depends on the job, the interviewer and the position. When in doubt, go below the radar.

I would wear it. Signs of success are welcomed in professional circles and environments.

Get the job first, then wear the Rolex to your new job.

I went to a interview for a sales job once.
Interviewer wants to see how I handle a sale, so he takes off his brand new Rolex Submariner, hands it to me and says "sell me this watch!"

I stand up, stick the watch in my pocket and walk out the door.
I'm halfway out of the building and my cell phone rings "where the hell are you going, bring that watch back now!"

Sure I say, $200 bucks and it's yours.

PS. wear the Rolex to the new job

Change of opinion...wear it to 2nd interview but don't flash it.

Good luck!
