Don't like replacing the bracelet with straps. And the lugs of a maxi case on strap look like a woman with thick ankles!

The models that came without bracelet....ex: new Daytonas, leather strap Daytonas, Skydwellers, YMaster....etc...look fantastic. Some vintage models also look great on leather/nato, and a few modern divers look great on rubber.

I'm more of an oyster bracelet fan than anything else. I like wearing my sub 14060m, SD 16600, and Tudor sub 79090 on nato to change things up once in awhile. My Ranger works for me on a number of straps, including leather, rubber, and NATO, but I have the bracelet for it too. Whatever makes one happy, I'm in favor of.

Tried my pepsi on a gray suede strap recently and really did not like it. Don't know if I will be trying any others out -- after my experience I concluded that I will stick to bracelet on rolexs for now!

Exactly. Many other brands are made for straps, buy one of them if that is what you want.

I have got the same model, but MK1. Bought RubberB - brown leather top, rubber bottom - super cool. Never put it on my Explorer.

Love straps to mix things up and as a temporary change; don't go selling your bracelets though. Usually swapping is more work than it's worth.

Actually went spelunking with my Explorer II last week and switched it up with a Zulu knowing there was likely contact with rocks.

I prefer the bracelet, but I like this look too.

It's hard to beat the oem bracelet, but I do like a change every now and then with a NATO or rubber b strap.

I love Rolex on straps!

I've always preferred straps and actually I don't really like bracelets all that much except for the oyster. The oyster bracelet is absolutely fantastic and I've committed to wearing my Sub on it...but there is a part of me that still misses straps. Leather and NATO, love them both. I'd love to get an ExpI as I think it's an ideal candidate for straps. I'd put on an Everest tan or brown leather with the end links...looks nice on the ExpI!

For some reason I've never understood a lot of Rolex people are against straps. I get that the oyster is a fabulous bracelet, but bracelets aren't for everyone. I find leather or NATO more comfortable most of the time.

Best look for a watch that was actually designed to be worn on both steel and leather. Here's one . . .

Looks perfect on a strap. Rolex on the other hand, and like you stated, is designed to be worn on steel. But to each his own.

When I got my DJ it came on a black strap, but as soon as possible I got a jubilee, which looks far better and is also very comfortable.

I got a strap for my Tudor BBB and think it goes well with it and is much more comfortable than the bracelet.

I prefer bracelet but in some models oysterflex looks very nice too. It's more budget friendly as well

Chaps

This is all very subjective but I think only Explorers and Explorer11s look good on a strap. Their understated looks blends well with straps.

Anything with a bezel looks naff without a bracelet. It is just a disjoint of fashion styles.

Regards

Mick
