233 comparison pics: dome vs normal crystal?

Hi, does anyone have an comparison pics or insight on the new 233's flatter crystal vs. the original heavily domed crystal. I haven't been able to see one.

Thanks
Everett

Yeah, I'm aware of what it should look like but I'm beginning to think it's possibly in between these two.

Where did you hear the 233 don't have the dome crystal anymore?

Several places and some have confirmed. That news is several months old but I want to see the difference before deciding which one I want.

Care to share some sources? I was just at the boutique last week and the 233 I tried on had dome.

What serial was it. I believe r is the last year. Search it on here. It's been talked about several times plus I spoke the burka (when they were selling) and they were told the same.

There is also a thread here in which the OP later admitted he was mistaken and there was no change to the dome.

For what it is worth, I have a new S-serial 233 and it has the "heavily domed" dome. Exactly the same as my old dot-dial 233. Unless there is mix stocked out there of course which is weird to me, but possible I guess.

I am that OP and I still cringe when I think about making such a hideous and, to the Panerisiti, a most heinous, mistake.

Here's the thread and the pictures are of an S serial 233, complete with domed crystal:

I really hope that is the case. When this was going on, that is when I call Birks to try and secure a previous year model. The sale lady agreed that she had heard the same. Birds ismt my favourite but at the time the community was saying the same. Is the s model the current year? I don't recall ever seeing a t.

S serial is 2016. T serial should be filtering into dealers by now, certainly on the popular references
