X 100! Great thread OP and to all the contributors; excellent pics and stoires. This is what special items such as a Rolex in the family is about.

Given to me by my Mom when my Dad passed away 33 years ago.

Save a watch for your kid, it will probably be very special to them.

Would love to see Rolexes that was passed down to you.

Incredible the stories and watches that have been passed on to future generations. I'm so glad that people have the foresight to plan ahead and leave these beautiful time pieces to their family members.

As we have elected to have not children I guess my watches will be sold off and the proceeds' will go to charity. Unless a special person crosses our path in life and I choose to gift them away.

Was handed down a seamaster omega, but not a rolex. No plans on kids any time soon, if anything I will probably actually gift a rolex to my business partner within the next few months.

Great pics and family stories, gents!
I was given a Patek after the death of a great uncle. Had it for 20 years but ultimately traded it for my 16710 GMT a decade ago.
