Not that I know of, but I'm not all too plugged in to that community here (or aware of one that exists ;)).

Just sent my GMT off for some warranty work so have been missing my Rolex of late.

Well if anyone wants to participate, I'd be willing to organize a CLT get together

I'm in Charlotte too. Windsor jewelers has recently started the Carolina Watch Club.
I haven't been to an event yet but the next time I hear of one I'll try to remember to post it here.

So far I'm thinking about a Wednesday in January for our gtg. I have a few places in mind at southpark near the ADs. A weekday seems to be a good time for everyone

I live real close to the South Park area so I'm definitely in.

You guys have any go to vintage watch people in Charlotte? Windsor was pretty useless when it came to a 1601 Datejust this past weekend.

Count me in for a weeknight GTG in the SouthPark area, I work a few minutes away.

I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to vintage but you may want to try Sumpters on Wilkinson Blvd.

I'm in Charlotte as well.

Perry's jewelers near South Park always had a few older rolexes in stock if I'm remembering correctly.

Any luck there Joe? Have been meaning to go there myself since one of my bosses has always had good things to say from a jewelry perspective.

I realized later I'd been there before, their prices seemed high to me. A. Bonnart over off providence had amazing stuff if you haven't been there. He also has great prices too. I was surprised. He has 2 GMT 1675s and a bunch of other Rolex for realistic prices. Sumpters sometimes has interesting stuff as well.

I've heard the same thing about Sumpters. Will need to go check out A Bonnart. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, he had some neat stuff. I think he has a platinum Daytona in the case, might be WG, ceramic bezel and I saw it from across the room. Couldn't tell what color the bezel was to confirm.

Agree with your assessment on Perrys after visiting yesterday. They had a nice 1940s Patek that wasn't too overpriced but just a few unremarkable Rolexes that were probably 20-30% too high. Nice people though.

New owner of a GMT Master II in Greensboro. I would be up for a GTG just about anywhere in the state.

I'm in Charlotte (hence the name), I'm going to organize a gtg for TRM members in my ADs showroom with wine/food/cigars all complementary. Once I get set up as a pledge member here and read all the rules for ADs posting and stuff I'll put out the details.

My nephew lives in the Research Triangle area and teaches at UNC. We've been considering a trip down there to see him, so maybe we could kill two birds with one stone.
