Custom dials with your signature or logo

Hi.

I was wondering, has anybody made a dial with his initials or signature/name just like we do on out Mont blanc pens. It can include custom color or stone selection aswell.

I have a dial lying which needs refinishing, was thinking why not to refinish it with custom stuff and name above SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER.

Thanks.

The Saudi Royal Family has had that done IIRC.

Also, some corporations had same done with their logo's for commemorative award watches, Domino's and Winn Dixie come to mind...

I see. Looks like not much of a trend for other than royal families of SA.

Comex, Tiffany and Co, Dominos, etc. have.

Here's a Chuck Yeager GMT by The Real McCoy's - Japanese store.

Correct. He did.

The Real McCoy's made this dial in honor of him in 1999 and they chose red/black.

Correct. This was made to honor the man. It wasn't made for him. It was a custom dial that Rolex had nothing to do with.

Thank you for the replies. Looks like it has been done on a commercial level. What about personal customization. Has anybody done it personally? I really want to jump into this one but no idea who will do the printing closest to OEM finish?

The only person I know that did write his own name on his watches is Qaboos, Sultan of Oman. (Sp?). Rolex did it for him, he's a famous collector and his Daytonas sell for quite some money!

There have been several over the years. Just be aware that Rolex will replace the dial should you send it to them for service.
