gilt sub - thoughts on this?

I'm about to acquire my first gilt sub! Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Overall, it looks like a very nice and original 5513 gilt with "Bart Simpson" dial.

Looks like it could be relumed. Looks ok but I'd make sure the price reflects this. The picture really isn't good enough quality to make a decent assessment to be honest. Does the case serial number match? Should be 1965 or 1966. Likewise caseback stamp.

Also the hands should be moved clear of the text on the dial so this can be assessed.

Out of curiosity, how much does a solid gilt sub go for these day?

Looks great - the lume in the second hand has cracked, but it may well stay put for many more years to come.
