Then just have him fedex it to you and you will have it before NYC event...if you wear it Thierry may think he better get you a men's one ASAP!

I hope so. I think Thierry will stay away from me if I ask enamel from him.

Brian, just a suggestion, if you cover my flights, I would happily take a couple of days of work and bring it out to you

Thank you Tony.

I think Jamie may bring it to me. I have to pick up another watch or clock. We have something to discuss face to face.

May I ask where do you live? Do you visit London very often?

Last time I asked 7131/175 from MD. I felt Mark didn't like I asked. Maybe that was a reason I did not have London special piece.

They are in the business of selling watches so I doubt they would be upset in you asking for them. If anything they should be happy you continue to ask and know they will be going to a good home as opposed to some damn flipper who is just looking to make money by reselling

Thats my favourite by far...however...you need to ask Mark for 5089....especially the Azulejos which is very masculine and Dutch in feeling...looks like Delft

I ask for what I want. This story is not Patek related so be warned.

Case in point, I must have been off my face when I emailed my AD I thought about getting one of the Ltd. 60th Speedmasters from Basel, I actually said Seamaster and put the ref. for that.

Well, I was at the AD yesterday picking up a birthday gift for my wife and I mentioned the Speedmaster and my AD was like, um, you said Seamaster. Sure enough I looked at my email and I did say that. I don't know what I was thinking, very weird.

So now we'll see if they can do it...

Back to Patek, congrats on your new piece Brian; getting a rare handcraft piece is very cool!

My experience. You can ask any watch, but not on rare hand craft and very special piece. PP already headache how to allocate these few hand craft to his VIP. The best way to get is from your AD--MD--PP.

Hi Louis:

I think It is a different story for Patek rare hand craft. It is hard to get. I am lucky to have this beautiful enamel watch for my ladies.

It is nice to hear your story. Thank you for share with us.

Yeah I know it's not the same at all, haha. Between the table clocks, watches, and other items Patek makes maybe 20-50 pieces a year you think?

If I wanted one I'd still ask my AD and HSWA, but I wouldn't even try. I'm not even close to collecting at your level (yet). For now I'm very happy I was able to get my 5131R!

Thanks Brian for asking, but sadly not.
To be fair to him, his first day was most likely an extremely busy one.
Hopefully over the next couple of days.

My experience. It could takes more time than you may image for a little problem. It may takes a few months. Be patience and relax. I am used the process of fix my watch.
