New strap. Good look?
So I recently got tired of my OEM bracelet and decided I would like to try on a strap for my Aqua Terra. I didn't want a generic leather and so I chose a genuine 19mm stingray. I really hate what seems to be a gaping hole between the bottom of the case and the strap but I suppose without end links it's to be expected... What do you guys think? Keep it on for a bit or just switch it back? I love the feel of it.

sorry man. and while I am a bit of a hypocrite, and apologize for my hypocrisy, I absolutely hate it.
stingray... yeah...something about it just does not sit ok with me. yes, I eat meat and have leather car seats...but that just does something to me that I don't like. that said, if you like it, that is all that matters.

I have to agree with Seth, I'm not a fan of the look. I think the texture look of the strap takes away from the watch IMHO. It is too busy looking for me. But if you like it that is all that matters.

It's Your choice , and I agree with all the previous posts .I thinkthere are definitely better straps out there ,which will compliment the watch so much better . Don't think stingray would look good on any watch .

Stingray, the fish?
I'm sorry but every time I see stingray I reminded of this scene from the classic movie suicide kings: Be advised this clip is Dennis Leary's character so there is colorful/colourful language! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VWKrncseUw8 |

I like it. When it comes to straps the variations are limitless. Wear it on occasion and enjoy it. I would also look at a nice calfskin brown and black. It gives you options.

The stingray strap is a distraction to the dial vertical stripes. If that makes sense.

Haha, very interesting. I suppose it is rather divisive strap and probably a reason stingray never took off!
I'm actually looking for a 19mm sailcloth strap to pair with the watch but I may just stick it back on the bracelet for now given the feedback! PS. IF anybody knows of any 19mm sailcloths, please tell me. |
