Icon5 VACATION 2017? ★ Where are you going?

We finally have our Safari 2017 all dialed in for this summer, Kenya Tanzania and Rwanda. Our goal is to experience the Great Migration and go Gorilla Trekking in the jungle of in Rwanda.

I plan to take my friend from TRF along for the trip too.

We LOVE Singita properties as they are recognized as one of Africa’s most influential collectors of wine, with an extensive cellar showcasing a premium selection of wines, including some of the continent’s most sought-after private reserves, including Exclusive Release, Limited Single Vineyard and Rare Auction Wines.

Where are you going?

Are you planning on taking TRF along with you too?

Have a great trip. I've stayed in a couple of Singita properties in SA (Lebombo and Castleton), but preferred Nicky Oppenheimer's Tswalu over in the Kalahari. Really enjoyed the safari experience. Will be doing the Amalfi coast and/or a Med cruise this year. Won't be taking TRF.

Sounds great Larry!

We just did Big Sur (review post to come) and Paso Robles wine tasting. A few shorter local trips on the horizon.

Nothing as exciting for me - my girlfriend is moving to Dallas in a few weeks so all my trips will be there to visit her.

With the family in Bar Harbor, ME now, will be going to visit friends in CT for a few days and then end the trip in Boston.

Later in the summer, going on another trip to the TX hill county to camp and float down the Frio River.

We are going East coast/west coast this year.

We will be visiting Disneyland and the rest of the West coast this fall, and a trip to visit friends in NYC this Christmas. The wife will probably make a trip back home to Brazil, but I plan on sitting that one out.

Pretty excited about Disneyland, it will be my wife's first time at Disney, and my first time at Disneyland. When I was growing up, we always made trips to Disneyworld and had a blast.

Wow. A safari trip is definitely on the bucket list. From my buddies that have done it, you'll have a blast! The Mrs is about 3 to 4 months pregnant so it'll have to be down the road.
This year we've got a packed travel list.
Starting at the end of the month we have a week at the beach (Avalon /Stone harbor NJ). Leave a day early for a ten day trip to Italy/Vatican. Get in 7/4 and fly out 7/8 for a wedding in Idaho.
Should keep me busy until the baby comes

It's not glamorous, but it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm going back home to Baltimore for a few days. A high school friend has gotten his old band back together for a reunion show. Might be fun to watch a bunch of middle aged guys crank out some glam metal and such. It's turning into a big get together of old high school friends, too.

We're going to spend a day hitting the art museums downtown with our sixteen year old daughter, too. Additionally, I have already mentioned a trip to Radcliffe Jewelers to the wife so I can take a glance at some of the watches there. I believe a guy who works there is a member here on the forum. Would be cool to meet another TRF member while I am in town.

Yes sir
Probably only for a long weekend this year vs our normal 7+ days. The in-laws have a lot more horses this year so there will be action almost every day I'm sure
