Summertime is here: diving with Rolex

Anybody want to share some good diving photos with their Rolex it sure would make it feel like summer!

I'm wreck diving with my daughter in Bonaire a few weeks back with my 114060 on at about 60ft here (we went to 96ft on this dive). It qualified as our Deep Dive for Advanced Open Water certification.

My watch is on my right hand and barely discernible but it's there! I had to rely on others taking pics since I don't have a camera.

Have a great summer guys and gals!

The Hilma Hooker! I've been on that wreck a couple of times!

Here are a couple photos of my diving with my DSSD, also in Bonaire!

Blurry, but you get the idea!

Here is one with my DSSD in the BVI while completing my Divemaster training!

All together, my DSSD has ~200 dives on it. I just got a new SD43, so the DSSD will probably have to share diving duties from now on.

Cannot wait to see diving pictures with the sd43. You'll have to give an assessment of how it performs at depth too.

Chaps

It is good to see evidence of a Sub being used for the purpose for which it was designed. Good luck to the OP and may he have many happy diving years ahead of him.

Please remember this when you think of writing in asking if it is safe to wear a Sub in a shower or any other such tosh.

PS I went for a surface swim yesterday wearing a 16710 GMT and it is still ticking merrily away. These Rolex are tough with a capital T.

Regards

Mick - laying flat on his back in the hot Spanish sun (44 degrees C on the sun roof) and the GMT is happily ticking away being baked in the heat.

Did you have to do night dive as part of course? I did mine around 8 years ago, I find night dives are always the best as the sea comes alive and electric colours of the fish sparkle

Since I do all the photography I don't have many with my watch in them but it is on my wrist. The 1st pic is me at the top but the rest is my wife diving.

Yes, did my Night Dive too. It is really different at night. To tell the truth I'm not a big fan of it. Low visibility and we seem to root for the bad guy...meaning: you flash your light on the cute little fish and the tarpon come in for the kill. The circle of life in action. I did get to see a huge sea turtle sleeping.

By the way, I did use my watch on most of the 14 dives that week to keep track of how long I was down for...it was very cool
