Dot in the center of 16600 insert pearl

Hi all, my 16600 insert pearl seems to have a "dot" in the middle when viewed at certain angle.

Anyone has any idea?

It's impossible to say something about it from this pic.
Maybe the sapphire cracked, maybe the luminous material cracked itself (more likely the second)

The pearl is just a blob of luminous paint covered by a sapphire crystal perhaps its just a simple air bubble in the blob of lume. But now Rolex has developed a special tool, so now the pearl can be replaced if needed, instead of the costly whole ceramic insert.

Thanks all for the response. It is an aluminium insert for 16600. So even if I were to change, it will not be as costly. Just a little annoyed by the small dot in the middle, seeing it at specific lighting and angle. Air bubble sounds plausible. The pearl lume still works though.

Interesting... my pearl just came off leaving a clean tiny hole in the ceramic bezel.
