Sub Dials on the El Primero
It seems that all the new watches some of the models have the sub dial at 6 below/under the ones at 3 and 9. Some have the sub dial at 6 above the sub dials at 3 and 6.
Anyone know the reason for this? |

Aesthetic licence by the designer, who obviously thinks it’s better to have it that way, rather than functional where the running seconds and chrono minutes have priority.
Proof that he and whomever signed off on it, never wear or only use a chronograph to time how quickly they’ve disappointed their special someone – in which instance, they’ve nailed the design for the sub-5 minutes required! |
