Is this a real question? Let's see...get the old model that they discontinued and was deeply discounted because nobody wanted it, or the new hot model?
Tough choice!
Get what you like, but if you are asking, the new one is the easy choice

Very true. But if you buy one (16600), and it doesn't sing to you, you might be sitting on it for a while as the supply is far exceeding the demand.

Get the SD4K. I have this and the GMT. The SD wears smaller than the GMT.

Yes, if you like big divers. And it is big. I have worn it. It's not hugely different to a deep sea, just better proportioned, better bracelet proportion and slightly smaller. If you can live with the height, weight and size it's a great watch. If not the size but the height buy the SD4K. Otherwise, buy a sub.

It's not the best watch since sliced bread, but is a great option in a sea of great watches and is nice to have the choice based on wrist size and preference.

I should edit, I have a 7.5 inch wrist but quite tall and it felt like a hockey puck. It doesn't do it for me at all, although a smaller flatter wrist would be fine. As with everything it's best to try on rather than ask here.
