I think his comment is prob everything except DaytonaC

Very unlikely DaytonaC sitting at AD. If it is it is not selling at MSRP or has been spoken for

Wondering is there any discounts at ad for them (when/if available) I think they cost $9k. My dealer told me they won't discount a penny on it.

I wonder if that's true regarding the production of the LV? I'm kind of over the he said she said about Rolex but that is interesting for sure, used values rising as we speak.

One thing for sure is that Rolex knows how to control demand for product so production reduction is always a possibility.

No problems in WI in locating a Hulk. I've been to a few AD's this past month, and I'm pretty sure they all had a Hulk and a BLNR in the case. It's only the Daytona's and the new SD43 that are missing from the cases here. The AD I got my SD43 from has had 4 of them so far, and expects more. He would not tell me how many Daytona C's he received this past year, but I know it's been several. I picked up a Daytona C from him last year in May right after they started arriving. He has two stores, so he usually has inventory or something inbound. He won't sell the Daytona C's to just everyone, but they always have Hulks in stock. He also had a James Cameron when I was there a few weeks ago. He's in Milwaukee.

To the OP.....did you ask the AD you visited if they have one in the back? Did you ask if they could order you one? I'd be surprised if they didn't have one on hand or if they couldn't get you one in shorty order.

Cheers,

J

If you drove to Sarasota you would not have had to wait. They have had a Hulk in their case for the past 9 weeks.

Walked in to an AD asked if there was one in stock, there was but it was on a potential buyers wrist. I mulled around and when he turned it down I jumped in.

This was April 2016 things have changed a bit since.

In larger markets I have seen the Hulk in display cases. In North Carolina I have never seen a Hulk or BLNR in a dealers case. I bought my Hulk from my AD and had to wait about two weeks for it to arrive. I inquired about the BLNR and was told they could get it and a short list exists but should be no problem.

I've said it before but the only cure to this sickness might be a move to the U.K.

On the contrary any WIS brits who move to the US are putting their bank accounts in serious jeopardy

In other news I just bought another LVc....my third time on this train

Can't resist the dial.

They're usually readily available at AD'd in the US. Wouldn't be hard to get in the US

They are likely to become even more sought after I suspect.

I was speaking with the sales guy in Toronto and he mentioned that Rolex is no longer taking any more orders for the hulk. Not sure if anybody has been given that response by other AD or boutiques.

I don't own a hulk myself.

AD in NoVa near D.C. can get it overnight. In MD side another AD can get it in a week. Doesn't seem to be a shortage at all.
