How many of you feel these are the most beautiful 2017 model

They are better looking than any other model Rolex introduced in 2017. The only problem for me is I can't tell which one I like the most, dream to have them all

Back on topic, I think the white gold Daytona stole the show this year....but it's inspired me to go after my vintage grail now so no modern pieces for awhile. Definitely on the short list.

WG! On order with my AD. They just got in a YG that was pre-ordered. Delivered on same day it came in. That gives me hope that mine is not far off

It appears the WG is the most popular one. But I still love all of these 3 equally

I tried on the WG one today. Nice feel and weight to it. Beautiful watch. One of the next 3 on my list.

It was at the AD where I just got my YMII from. This WG Daytona had just arrived today, along with full YG green dial Daytona.

Yes beautiful, but that is only one of may attributes which in the overall scheme of things may or may not make it the 'best' of Basel 2017 which is again a subjective criteria.

However, it is a very cool watch with that panda dial.

I agree. For some reason rubber on a Daytona feels wrong...and I love rubber straps. Hmm.

White Gold is the prettiest, I would get the White Gold one with the White Gold bracelet and than buy the rubber b and change it.

I saw them live on Sunday at the Tourneau in SF. I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. I still prefer my blue 116509. I also do not like you have to order the exact right size strap.

I normally pick up yellow gold but for this particular Daytona, white gold is my favorite model

rubber is more sporty on a sports watch than leather, no?

I totally get the bracelet argument. But, rubber > leather on a sports watch IMHO if you don't want a bracelet

I just ordered the Everest rubber straps with use of the original clasp from my Daytona YG. Personally i think it is going to look stunning.

I chose the white gold with blue dial and bracelet. The Daytona is quite a small watch, in modern terms, and the extra heft of the bracelet helps give it substance. Surprisingly, the dial is actually smaller than on the Cellini range of dress watches.
Of course, a strap is a lot cheaper!

without the endlinks it will look wrong, as demonstrated by the pictures of the white daytona c in rubber strap.

So is that next for you, Jon? I like it too but will wait until next year and hopefully better prices, won't pay close to retail on a PM.

Its definitely looking that way Neil!! I can't help think you may be waiting longer than a year for discounts but could well be wrong. I can't wait that long - It's been nearly 3 years since my last incoming!!

Having said that though, I tried on the new Skydwellers too and despite maintaining on TRF that I preferred the black dial, the blue is absolutely stunning!! Way better in the flesh than the black. Has certainly given me something to think about.
