How many years have you owned your Rolex?

I work with a bunch of MD's, many of whom bought a Rolex upon graduation from Med school. One of the MD's has had his close to 50 years and has sent it in once. It still keeps great time. Wow. Anyone else like that on this fourm?

It'll be two years in December for my GMT IIc, which I've worn every day since I got it. Oh, until my wife bought me a Sub Date for our first anniversary. She gave it to me Monday and I haven't stopped staring at it since. What a beautiful timepiece, and what a great wife!

I bought my first two in 1992: an Explorer and a white Explorer II.

Both look as good as new.

Rob - My Air-King is like Trigger's Broom (an Only Fools & Horses reference - long running UK comedy), in that it has had numerous refurbishments, crystals and circa 1992 had the original silver dial replaced with the current black one! Today it got a new Oyster Bracelet.

This 16800 has been in our family for 26 years.
I have Omega speedmaster that has been in our family for 48 years and
Seiko LM (LordMatic) that I've owned for 35 years.

About three and a half years for me. My only regret is that I didn't get to have it sooner.
