Is this legit?

Hello Folks

I am new to rolex watch world. recently I purchased my first one, a 1970´s 1675 GMT Master rootbeer and I am very excited with it. Last week someone offered me this watch (pics below). He claims it is legit but I am having a bad feeling about it. The crystal is broken and it is not working. He stated that he took to a local watch tecnitian and was informed that it had a bad/broken coil/spring. The price is apparently reasonable considering it was legit. Now the 1.000.000 question, how do I make sure it is legit? Can someone assist with pictures only?

Who are you buying from?

A friend?

It needs to go to service regardless.

Tell the seller you’ll pay for service if it comes back legit and functional you’ll pay them.

Maybe set up an escrow

Why buy something that is broken? The cost to repair may be substantial to have it done right with genuine Rolex parts.

Is this legit?

Rolex 72200 reference on the bracelet corresponds to an oyster bracelet, not a jubilee. Don’t think it’s a genuine watch.
