Milgauss GV

When I saw the "regular" black dial Milgauss, I fell in love with it. I've since been on a mission to get the GV. Needless to say, it is impossible to get one right away. I have found a reputable dealer in another state who's willing to put me at the top of their waiting list if I prepay for the watch in full with no guarantees as to when I will get the watch. He just sold one to a client who prepaid before Father's Day. The client only waited 3 months to get the watch. He is confident he can get me one before the end of the year. Just wondering what you guys think.

I would be concerned about the "pre-pay" of anything of that price if there is no guarantee it will even come in..

Ordering one and pre-paying is far different than giving my money away on a possibility.. Why on earth would a respectable businessman want to put my money in his cash-register right now....what then is his motivation to follow-through with the promise..

Hi, and welcome.

I think 10% deposit is more than enough to show you are a serious buyer

So I would politely decline his offer

Regards Mike.

He knows he has a hot item and figures he can use someone's money for awhile as a result.

Of course, this is extremely unethical and you're powerless. How do you know that you're at the top of the list? How will you know when he gets the next one in? How do you know he'll have the money to refund to you should you change your mind or get tired of waiting?
Personally, if I had your money as an interest free loan, I'd be in no hurry to get you the watch.

Don't let your desire for the GV lead you to doing something stupid.
